As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a significant part in leading the rearchitecting efforts of our existing monolithic payment system to a cloud-native architecture, leveraging modern cloud technologies and best practices.

This will include collaborating with cross-functional teams including software engineers, architects, and product managers to define and implement the new payment system architecture.

The Senior Software Engineer will also drive the adoption of DevOps principles and practices throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.

5+ years of experience programming in modern back-end languages such as Go, Java, C#, Python, or
~2+ years of experience building payments or e-commerce products
~1+ years of experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation tools
~1+ years of experience using a cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
~8+ years of total experience in software engineering

The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.

In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
