Key Responsibilities- Participate in our 6-month co-op program, working a full-time schedule from January 13, 2025, to July 11, 2025.
- Contribute to the development of high-impact projects, utilizing your skills in scripting and coding.
- Collaborate with our team to deliver tangible business results.
- Network with V Teamers across the globe, find mentors, and establish meaningful friendships.
- Current enrollment in a New Jersey Institute of Technology Bachelor's degree program in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related major.
- Coursework or demonstrated experience in scripting and coding (e.g., Python, Java, React, NodeJS, NextJS, Javascript/Typescript).
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
- Willingness to travel and work in an assigned Verizon office.
- Demonstrated strong written and communication skills.
- Experience in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
- Knowledge of mobile development (e.g., Android, IOS).
- Knowledge of service Application Programming Interface (API) Integration (e.g., Microservices, Restful APIs, Web Services).
- Knowledge of Web Development (e.g., Frameworks, browsers, and embedded applications).
- Understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) automation tools and/or Secure SW development cycle.
