Our caregivers provide the ability for clients to remain in their own homes safely, comfortably, and as independently as possible as we assist them in their daily lives.

As a student going to New River CTC and being a caregiver with Right at Home, you will gain hands-on experience in your chosen field of study at a rate of $17/hr.

while helping us fulfill our mission through the Learn and Earn program.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance preferred
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
  • Must be a New River CTC student enrolled in an Allied Health field program
  • Must remain an active employee with Right at Home and accept scheduled shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Light housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, doing laundry, etc.)
  • Helping with personal hygiene care (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.)
  • Meal preparation/ medicine reminders
  • Occasional transportation (appointments or errands)
  • Assisting with ambulation (walking, transfers, exercises)
  • Provide companionship
