The Building Manager position will involve overseeing operations at three key locations within WSFSSH's property portfolio: Independent House, Revella, and the 120s Cluster area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance, administrative, and compliance staff
  • Collaborate with the Director of Facilities Department to manage ordering, repairs, and maintenance
  • Ensure building cleanliness and maintenance, as well as compliance with fire safety regulations
  • Review staff training needs and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Manage documentation and records efficiently

Services to Residents:

  • Collaborate with social services to address resident issues
  • Handle resident intake/admission and discharge processes
  • Provide crisis intervention and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
  • Protect resident rights and maintain accurate resident information

Budget Management:

  • Operate within prescribed budgets and document expenses accordingly
  • Collect rents and oversee financial transactions
  • Work on establishing annual operating budgets with the management team

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience with Section 8 and LIHTC
  • Experience with various housing subsidy programs
  • Supervisory experience of at least 2 years
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in crisis situations
  • Proficiency in computer skills and bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
