Role Overview:

  • Provide leadership and expertise in medical and patient care matters
  • Collaborate with various clinic departments for seamless patient care
  • Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clinical care needs
  • Lead resolution of operational and clinical service issues as the Clinical Site Director
  • Supervise advanced care practitioners and physicians in a leadership role
  • Coordinate and lead team meetings and spearhead innovative projects
  • Support the site clinic manager in facilitating site meetings and driving positive changes
  • Assist in handling patient complaints efficiently

Requirements:

  • Active California Medical License
  • Board eligibility in Family Medicine, Med/Peds, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine
  • Understanding of medical needs of diverse populations and the homeless
  • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred
  • Experience in providing medical care in high-volume clinics
  • Proficient in managing chronic illnesses like diabetes and obesity
  • Capability to teach and supervise medical students and residents
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a leadership role preferred
