Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform field diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on various types of construction and support equipment such as: Excavators, Loaders, Backhoes, Water trucks and other vehicles.
  • Perform duties in an expedient and professional manner and maintain open communication with the shop and field.
  • Work both in a field (outdoor) and a shop environment.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and instructions from management.
  • Maintain well documented records of work performed, equipment conditions and future needs.
  • Perform other equipment and vehicle related duties as needed.
  • Ability to weld, cut, and fabricate as required.
Qualifications/Skills Required

  • Ability to read and understand service manuals.
  • Proficient with programs such as Cat E.T. and J-pro
  • Basic computer skills
  • Approach work in a meticulous, thorough, and detailed manner, using logical step-by-step procedures.
  • Prioritize work to meet goals or deadlines.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Must furnish all basic tools to successfully perform this job (Company will provide a truck).
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests per company policy·
  • Prior Cat and Komatsu equipment experience is preferred.
  • OSHA 10, CPR/First Aid Certifications will be required
