The Systems and Network Administrator is a crucial hybrid role responsible for maintaining the seamless operation of our IT systems and network.
This position requires a proactive approach to system troubleshooting, network management, and security compliance, ensuring robust IT support across all company sites.
This role will report to IT Manager.Security Monitoring:
Regularly check and respond to security alerts within environments such as 365 Defender and Microsoft Entra.
- Technical Support: Provide timely resolution for hardware and software issues for end users, both onsite and remotely.
- Utilize ticketing systems to effectively track and complete IT support tasks.
Network Administration roles :
- Ensure continuous network availability across all sites; monitor network performance.
- Partner with IT leadership and thirdparty vendors to put in place strategy and enhance network infrastructure.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively handle troubleshooting and rapid resolution of network issues.
Experience:
At least 2 years in IT support, with substantial exposure to network administration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing Windowsbased systems, Office 365 (Defender, Entra, Exchange), Active Directory, and Windows Server OS. Familiarity with Ciscooriented network devices and Cisco Meraki solutions.
- Hardware Skills: Skilled in setting up and troubleshooting devices such as laptops, mobiles, and video conferencing systems.
- Certifications: Network+ or equivalent preferred.
