- Strong knowledge of social justice principles, intersecting identities, and advocacy for marginalized communities.
- Empathy, cultural intelligence, and exceptional communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences.
- Race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, ability, socioeconomic level, religion, political persuasion, and documentation status.
- Stay informed about national and state issues affecting LGBTQ community resources and services.
- Demonstrated success in fiscal management and team leadership with a proactive, innovative, and inclusive approach.
- Proficiency in developing funding strategies, managing grants, and supporting staff through training and mentorship.
- Experience in multicultural environments, organizational development, and student support programs.
- Expertise in strategic planning, fostering institutional change, and understanding campus cultures.
- Bachelor's Degree in LGBTQIA Studies, Ethnic Studies, Women's Studies, or related field.
- Master's Degree in Education, Student Affairs, or relevant field (Preferred).
- Background checks and compliance with employment regulations are essential for continued employment.
- Adherence to age requirements and designated responsibilities under CANRA.
