Job Summary:

Raytheon is hiring for a Semiconductor Equipment Engineer assigned to 3rd shift (9pm-630am) weekdays. Candidate will be assigned to the Dry Etch Work Centers with opportunity to expand to other work centers. The qualified candidate must have the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of semiconductor processing equipment within the clean room environment. Supported tool sets include various Plasma Etch tools. This includes experience with vacuum, exhaust, electrical, electro-mechanical, RF / microwave, and chemical systems typically found in a semiconductor operation. This role requires the ability to work independently following OS instructions and the direction of the work center lead.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
  • Participate in continuous improvement activity, specifically with SPC controls of critical inputs to the manufacturing process and will work to improve up time performance on assigned systems.
  • Ensure equipment availability by implementing corrective actions for hardware and software related equipment issues.
  • Support of emergency response team (ERT).
  • Perform related hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Typically require a university degree or equivalent experience and 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiar with SEMI 10 semiconductor standards
  • Read and understand equipment manuals and schematics.
  • Have a fundamental knowledge of SPC controls with the ability to implement SPC control plans on existing equipment and new equipment installations.
  • Able to document work and provide detailed pass down.
  • Able to pull and analyze tool data.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance and SPC controls using FDC software.
  • Proficient use of MS Office products.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
