Duties

Performs functions as related to Natural Resources Management, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences and Social sciences to advise on, administer, and consult with on climate science. Develops, promotes and maintains partnerships to enhance knowledge and best practices on climate change adaptation. Partnerships are developed to enable efficiency and effectiveness in understanding and responding to climate change. Advises and assists in the identification of existing or development of new processes, products, tools, and activities to transfer scientific data and other information into sound, rigorous and effective management decisions and actions. Promotes consistency, transparency and rigor with respect to incorporating climate science information into the planning and decision-making processes of the BLM.
