Description
Renaissance School of Medicine, Stony Brook University, Department of Anesthesiology, is recruiting for a Physician/General/Pediatric Anesthesiologist.
The candidate will provide anesthetic care to patients undergoing surgery or other procedures, and will provide consultation before and after the anesthetic procedure.
The candidate will be actively engaged in the instruction and/or supervision of medical students, resident physicians, and certified registered nurse anesthetists.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) degree
Board certified/eligible in Anesthesiology & Pediatric Anesthesia
Completed, or currently attending, an ACGME accredited Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia
Candidates must be eligible for licensure as a Physician in New York State
P referred Qualification:
Completed (within 6 months), or currently attending an ACGME accredited Fellowship program in Pediatric Anesthesiology
Interest and Skilled in the provision of regional analgesia to infants and neonates
Interest in pursuit of clinical research
