What it's about

The Quantitative & Risk Management business unit is responsible for corporate, investment and portfolio risk management activities of Partners Group.

The group also contributes to integrated business building activities in relation to tasks of quantitative nature.

We are now looking to add a risk manager to our growing team of 30+ members across Switzerland, Singapore, Denver, and Luxembourg.

This position will be based in Singapore.
You will be part of the corporate risk management team and have the following responsibilities:
Become part of the Quantitative and Risk Management team in Singapore
Development of proprietary private markets quantitative models and systems (python based)
Perform regular and ad-hoc scenario analysis of private markets data (python, SQL and Excel)
Computation and modelling of assets under management
Develop pricing strategies for customized private equity, private debt, private real estate and private infrastructure mandates
Preparation of submissions and presentations for firm-wide management and committees
Operation and enhancement of firm-wide private markets models and systems
Reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders
What we expect
Masters/PhD in mathematics, physics, quantitative finance or similar background
Ability to generate original ideas and develop new models or processes based on them
Passion for numbers and quantitative analysis
Strong quality excellence and ability to work error-free
Interest in the international financial industry's mechanisms
Prior experience in computer programming (Python/SQL) and Excel is considered an advantage
Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
Professional qualification (e.g. CFA, FRM) desirable but not a requirement
