Pursuit Collection is seeking a seasoned Risk Management Director to lead our global insurance programs and risk management initiatives. Key Responsibilities- Insurance Program Management: Design, implement, and manage Pursuit Collection's global insurance programs, including property, liability, workers' compensation, and other relevant lines of coverage.
- Negotiate with Insurance Brokers and Carriers: Negotiate with insurance brokers and carriers to obtain the most favorable terms, conditions, and coverage.
- Claims Management: Oversee the administration of insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, investigation, and resolution.
- Risk Assessment and Analysis: Identify, analyze, and assess potential risks affecting Pursuit Collection, including financial, operational, strategic, and reputational.
- Risk Mitigation and Management: Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies and action plans to mitigate identified risks.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Develop, update, and enforce risk management policies and procedures in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Crisis Management and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain crisis management and business continuity plans to ensure Pursuit Collection can rapidly respond to emergencies and disruptions.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular risk management reports to senior leadership.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, finance, operations, and insurance teams, to manage risks effectively.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master's degree a plus.
- Professional Certification: Professional certification in risk management or insurance (e.g., CRMP, FRM, PRM, CERA, CPCU) strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years progressive experience in risk management and insurance within the hospitality industry, with a focus on global operations.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and tools; exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
