LHH Recruitment Solutions is collaborating with a local property management organization to recruit a Community Manager for their SW Portland, OR property. If you have experience in leasing and are ready to take the next step in your career, or if you are seeking a change, this is an excellent opportunity that is available to start promptly. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of one year of HUD, LIHTC or equivalent experience in the residential property management sector.

Position Details:

  • Industry: Residential Property Management
  • Duration: 2-3 month contract (with potential for extension or permanent role)
  • Pay: $25-$30 per hour DOE
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Location: Onsite in SW Portland, OR (parking provided)

Responsibilities:

  • Create leasing contracts for new tenants and manage the leasing unit waitlist
  • Conduct apartment walkthroughs, inspections, and tours
  • Support tenant relations including rent collection, payment processing, and maintenance scheduling
  • Maintain compliance for tenant contracts, tenant relations, and equal housing opportunities
  • Monitor and reconcile the property's accounts receivable
  • Prepare weekly reports

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One or more years of property management experience (Assistant, Community Manager, Property Manager, etc.) with focus on HUD or LIHTC
  • Proficiency in property management software like AppFolio, Yardi, Tenant Tech, or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Reliability is crucial
