We are looking for a skilled multi-disciplinary manager to take the reins in defining, implementing, and constantly enhancing manufacturing quality processes.
How you will influence:
- Establish and nurture a top-notch quality organization through outstanding leadership and talent development initiatives.
- Work closely with various teams to set manufacturing quality standards, ensuring that quality is integrated into Skydio products from the early stages of development.
- Create a quality control strategy to enhance incoming materials, internal processes, and outgoing product quality.
- Ensure swift containment of defects, root cause analysis, and effective corrective actions.
- Develop and apply key performance indicators and collaborate with analytics teams to bolster defect tracking and reporting mechanisms.
- Thoroughly analyze defect trends, proactively identify issues, and minimize productivity and yield losses.
- Lead cross-functional defect reviews to prioritize and address issues efficiently.
- Engage in early failure analysis and customer support evaluations to tackle manufacturing quality challenges.
Requirements:
- Expert in Quality Management with a wealth of experience in implementing quality and continuous improvement processes.
- Proficient in supporting manufacturing through multiple product cycles.
- Experience in quality inspection, cosmetic criteria, yield metrics, and reporting.
- Advanced data processing and analytical skills.
- A willingness to delve into complex problems hands-on to develop effective solutions.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent project management, communication, and teamwork capabilities.
- Natural attention to detail and organizational skills.
