Quality Assurance Internship in Pharmaceutical Development Manufacturing

Gilead Sciences, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Intern to join our Pharmaceutical Development Manufacturing team. As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Quality Assurance Operations Team in completing projects and tasks
  • Receive guidance from a Quality Manager/Team Lead and learn Quality specific regulations, processes, and practices
  • Lead and support process improvements while interacting with cross-functional teams
  • Support updating of regulated documentation for internal Gilead use
  • Support quality initiatives as needed and potential business process improvements
  • Train on cGMP regulation and internal procedures and apply them to daily activities

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Authorized to work in the United States without Sponsorship now or in the future or CPT/OPT through your University
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. based university or college and enrolled in the fall semester after the completion of the internship
  • Must be a Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in undergrad or enrolled in an advanced degree program
  • Must be able to complete a 10-12 consecutive week internship between May and August
  • Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship
