As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that all production goals and objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the success of the team.
- Production Planning and Control: Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets to meet business objectives, ensuring that all production goals and deadlines are met.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that all materials and supplies are available when needed, and that inventory is properly stored and maintained.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are followed, and that the facility is maintained in a safe and clean condition.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in production planning and control software.
The Manufacturing Operations Manager will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to noise, chemicals, and other hazards. The ability to lift and carry heavy objects is required, as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
