Job Summary:

Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining patient records
  • Greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Experience in Accounts Recievables and Patient Outreach
  • Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
  • Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Epic to input and retrieve patient information
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Assist with medical record management, including filing, scanning, and organizing documents
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on test results or other medical reports
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and assist healthcare professionals during procedures as needed
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining office cleanliness
  • Management of Referrals and Orders for Tests

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a dental office or medical setting is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Epic
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Familiarity with handling confidential information and adhering to HIPAA regulations
