Summary:

Plan Plant and Distribution requirements utilizing our planning systems, to assure optimum utilization of manufacturing facilities globally and streamlined supply of products to our customers from those facilities. Meet regularly with Plant and Distribution scheduling teams to work through constraints, improve plan adherence, and to support the medium to long-term planning of assets (production and warehouse capacity, and inventory investment). Assist in the development of improved planning processes and standard work to support best practice end-to-end planning.

These efforts will contribute to the ongoing growth, improved profitability, and the continuity of Hollister as an independent company. Hollister operates in a hybrid work environment. This role can be located in Stuarts Draft,VA, Libertyville, IL, Kirksville, MO or Mt. Juliet, TN.

Responsibilities:
  • End to end planning and optimization of the supply chain planning impacting service, inventories and costs utilizing our new planning systems.
  • Develop production plans to ensure optimum utilization of personnel, materials and physical assets in alignment with total business objectives.
  • Proactively manage supply chain risks and escalate issues where appropriate.
  • Drive performance through regular KPI reviews - setting stretch targets, ownership & accountability.
  • Facilitate the transition and development activities supporting product moves across facilities.
  • Define supply chain business rules & planning parameters.
  • Monitor supply chain performance, identify & drive improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Demand Planning and Network Planning teams to produce the S&OP presentation materials and focus for agenda topics.
  • Collaborate with Schedulers, Demand Planners, Manufacturing, and Distribution leadership to resolve supply issues and ensure excellent service to our customers.
  • Maintain open & immediate communications with the senior management team on critical operational issues.
  • Development of best practice planning processes and standard work instructions to support end-to-end planning.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in Supply Chain Planning in a high volume, low unit cost manufacturing environment preferably in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Experienced planner in SAP IBP planning system
  • B.S. / B.A in Supply Chain, Business, Technology, or Operations Management (required)
Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:
  • Experience of leading / implementing change in a manufacturing environment.
  • Cognitive ability to problem solve at a strategic level.
  • Good listening skills - adapt and learn as their career develops in Hollister.
  • Emotional intelligence - understand how one appears and impact of others on oneself.
  • Knowledge of ERP and Supply Chain Planning systems required.
  • Strong in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Local Specifications (English and Local Language):
  • English fluency
