Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily records of inbound shipments, tracking estimated arrival times and in-warehouse dates while updating internal systems and manual logs.
  • Evaluate freight details through various communication channels and external shipping platforms, adjusting expected delivery dates as necessary while ensuring compliance with purchase order requirements.
  • Review and approve role-related invoices, addressing any disputes as required.
  • Prioritize critical shipments and adapt to shifting priorities effectively.
  • Monitor port trends and develop innovative solutions for cargo movement, demonstrating a history of creating cost efficiencies in transportation operations.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of HTS classifications.
  • Knowledge of Freight Carrier contracts is advantageous.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in managing Purchase Orders
  • Experience with shipments and scheduling
  • Familiarity with air and ocean freight logistics
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience level: Experienced
