Position
Responsible to perform a variety of administrative tasks related to logistics procedures.

At direction of the Logistics Coordinator/ Operations manager tasks are performed to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries to our customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Performs all administrative tasks needed, prepare orders for shipments to the required delivery address provided by our customers.
  • Requests quotes for transport from our contracted forwarders.
  • Records transport costs
  • Communicates with our customers directly, with regards to transport only.
  • Prepares all required documentation for domestic and international shipments (Tax exemptions, commercial invoice, Delivery notes etc.)
  • Ensures the warehouse receives all documentation in a timely manner.
  • Assists with clearance of imported goods.
  • Assists with transport of incoming and outgoing container shipments.
  • Assists with maintenance of all import and export files, to ensure compliances and preparedness for drawback.
  • Reports any discrepancies and issues to the Logistics Coordinator/ Operations manager and proposes preventive measures.
  • Is responsible to follow all written procedures and instructions as recorded in the HQSEsystem.

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written knowledge of English
  • Experience_
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Logistics role is preferred.
  • Excellent skills in client services and in building longterm relationships
  • Can demonstrate the ability to go the extra mile, to exceed expectations.
  • Experience with Drawback procedure preferred

Working Conditions
Logistics Administrators must be flexible and if required, to work past normal business hours.
