Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Technical Writer to assist our US Courts client.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Proofread documents for format accuracy, proper use of language, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Check and correct content to ensure consistency, accuracy, coherence, style, grammar, and cross-references.
  • Format technical and non-technical documents following AP style guidelines and client-specific style guides.
  • Review and edit content created by team members.
  • Research technical subjects to develop technical documentation and user guides.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation.
  • Assist in planning communications products and strategies for scientific research topics.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of writing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Experience in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and requirements management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, English, STEM, or related field preferred.

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
