Position Summary:

United Trades of America is looking for a Quality Control Specialist with a strong background in mechanical and plumbing systems. This role involves ensuring that all installations meet the highest quality standards and require extensive walking on-site.

Pay Rate:

Up to $35 per hour, based on experiencePer Diem: $100 per day worked (only for candidates living over 70 miles from jobsite)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect mechanical and plumbing installations to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.Detects and reports any defects or non-compliance issues.Work closely with construction teams to ensure corrective measures are taken promptly.Keep detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control procedures.Conduct regular site walks to oversee the progress and quality of work.Use appropriate tools and equipment to test and verify installation quality.Educate site personnel on quality standards and procedures.

Requirements:

Proven experience in quality control, specifically in mechanical and plumbing.Deep knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems, including relevant codes and standards.Keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Ability to conduct extensive on-site walking and inspections.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in quality control or related fields are beneficial.
