About the Field Service Supervisor position at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics:

  • Responsible for managing the field technical staff daily
  • Supervise a team of Field Service Engineers
  • Provide exceptional customer service through effective communication both internally and externally
  • Collaborate with sales to maintain existing business relationships
  • Ensure field service team operations are efficient and accurate

This role is in the Austin/San Antonio, TX area. Our vision at Beckman Coulter is to continuously innovate healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be part of the Dallas team, reporting to the Senior Field Service Manager. If you enjoy leading in a collaborative, dynamic environment and aim to contribute to building a top-tier Service organization, this is for you.

What you'll do:

  • Lead team meetings to address customer issues and team updates
  • Foster team development through recruitment and employee growth
  • Collaborate with teams to enhance customer support strategies
  • Emphasize prompt customer service with a focus on efficiency and compliance

The job requirements include:

  • High School Diploma with 8+ years' experience in equipment diagnostics and repair
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years' experience
  • Clean driver's license
  • Willingness to travel 25%-50% of the time

Preferred qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Beckman Coulter Field Service Engineer
  • Management experience
  • Medical laboratory instrument troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Proficiency in office operations
