Certified Medical Assistant Compensation

- The hourly pay ranges from $16 to $20, depending on experience
- Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment

Certified Medical Assistant Highlights

- This is a contract position with potential for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business requirements
- Availability required: Willingness to work in both Largo & Clearwater during clinic hours

Certified Medical Assistant Responsibilities

  • Practice universal precautions and use personal protection equipment
  • Administer medications following the "5 Rights" protocol
  • Ensure proper completion of consent forms and provide patients with Vaccine Information Statement
  • Assist providers with in-office procedures
  • Prepare patients for exams
  • Handle patient phone calls and document information accurately
  • Have knowledge of medication classifications, side effects, and dosages
  • Take accurate vital signs
  • Follow aseptic and sterile techniques for instrument maintenance

Certified Medical Assistant Requirements

- 0-2+ years of professional experience and Medical Assistant Certification are mandatory
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
