Pride Health is hiring for a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Clearwater, FL. This is a 1-month Contract To Hire role with a possibility of extension and conversion into a full time, opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Physician with injections and EKG's
  • Direct patient care, including obtaining vital signs, administering injections, phlebotomy
  • Entering data into EHR (eCW).
  • Obtaining patient medical, social and medication history.
  • Providing support to clinicians within Medical Assistant Scope of Practice.
  • Queuing up medication refill requests.

Education/Requirements:

  • High school graduate, GED or equivalent.
  • Medical Assistant and BLS license required

Must have qualifications/experience:

  • Must be Certified Medical Assistant
  • Minimum 1 year experience

Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Clearwater, FL
Schedule: M-F 8 am to 5 pm
Pay Range: $19 to $22/hr

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
