Job Overview:
The Translational Patient Safety Senior Director at Daiichi Sankyo will play a crucial role in overseeing the safety aspects of the company's drug portfolio, ensuring proactive safety strategies are implemented throughout the development stages and post-marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safety insights during Research and Nonclinical Development stages, offering expertise on safety biomarkers and ensuring a proactive safety strategy for new drug candidates.
- Collaborate with Clinical Development and Post Marketing teams to manage risks, assess benefit/risk balance, and stay updated on safety-related biomarkers.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, enhance safety culture, and mentor junior staff on translational safety topics.
Qualifications:
Education:
- MD or PhD with substantial clinical experience.
Experience:
- 10+ years in pharmacovigilance and related fields, including 7+ years in pharmacovigilance, clinical pharmacology, or toxicology within the industry.
Travel: Up to 10% travel required domestically and internationally.
