The Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) at Autumnwood of McBain plays a crucial role in connecting the clinical/dietetics team with the kitchen staff. The CDM's main responsibility is to ensure guests receive meals that cater to their dietary needs and preferences, while being both appetizing and nourishing.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dietary history and food preference assessments upon guest arrival.
- Create, update, and execute menus tailored to the guest demographic.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
- Oversee procurement activities in the dietary department within the facility's budget.
- Supervise all kitchen operations including purchasing, cleanliness, scheduling, training, staff development, and QAPI.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and cater to guests' choices, preferences, and dietary routines.
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation related to dietary aspects of guest care plans.
- Hold a Certified Dietary Manager Certification or currently enrolled in a program recognized by the Dietary Managers Association.
- Mandatory possession of ServSafe Certification within 90 days of starting employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably have two years of supervised food service experience in an institutional environment with a focus on planning, preparing, and serving regular and therapeutic diets.
