We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietary Manager to join our management team at Northgate PostAcute Care. As a Dietary Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and managing the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily operations of the dietary department, following State and Federal regulations.
- Attend IDT meetings, patient care conferences, and complete MDS as required.
- Work closely with all staff to provide nutritional care to patients.
- Assume the responsibility of the Food Services Supervisor by planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Dietary Department, its programs, activities, and structure.
- Develop and maintain written dietary policies and procedures and job descriptions, interpreting them to employees, residents, visitors, and government agencies as necessary.
- Review and revise dietary policies and procedures annually, as needed.
- Interview residents or family members, as necessary, to obtain diet history and maintain ongoing communication to evaluate quality of meals and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Minimum one year SNF experience.
- Certified Dietary Manager or Certified Food Service Manager.
- Certification in Food Service Management & Safety from a national certifying body.
- Degree in Food Service Management.
- ServSafe Certification required.
