Position Summary:
Join our team at William & Mary as the Associate Athletic Director overseeing financial activities. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Athletics Department. Key responsibilities include:
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage the athletics department's budget to align with strategic goals.
- Financial Projections and Analysis: Provide insights into financial performance and future outlook through analysis and forecasting.
- FOIA Compliance: Ensure timely responses and compliance with FOIA regulations.
- Expense Approvals: Review and approve expenses in line with budgets and policies.
- Policy Management: Develop and enforce policies for transparency and compliance.
- NCAA and EADA Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports as required.
- Planning: Develop strategies for financial optimization in the short and long term.
- Executive Support: Assist the Executive Associate Athletic Director in managing operations.
Conditions of Employment:
- Possible need for additional hours beyond the typical work week.
- Position restricted to funding availability.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Several years of professional experience in athletics business or similar.
- Experience in financial operations and internal controls.
- Strong financial background with forecasting experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of NCAA regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Master's degree in business or sports administration.
- Familiarity with state/campus policies.
Hybrid (1 day per week remotely)
Advertised Pay Range:Up to $80,000
