The Director of Risk Management/Performance Improvement has broad responsibility to protect the hospital's assets from loss and ensure the hospital's compliance at all times with all Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulatory agencies standards and requirements.

The Director is responsible for coordinating the loss control efforts and advising management and administration on all potential sources of loss and for making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure.

Additionally, the Director will be responsible for staff training and education on the hospital's performance initiatives and measures including outcomes measurement and reporting.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from accredited college or university in nursing, or related clinical or health field is required. Master's Degree preferred.

Four (4) years of experience in quality and risk management/improving organizational performance within an acute medical or psychiatric treatment setting.
