Job Title: Customer Solutions Professional at RTR



Summary


The Customer Solution Professional is a collector who manages a file of charged-off, delinquent consumer accounts referred by clients. As a Customer Solutions Professional, you will be responsible for generating revenue and meeting collection goals by contacting consumers, discussing account statuses, and negotiating arrangements on behalf of clients. At RTR, you will undergo a comprehensive paid training program to ensure your success. Individuals from various backgrounds such as entrepreneurs, veterans, auto sales, retail sales, account managers, and commission salespeople have found success in this diverse environment.



Essential Functions


  • Monitor assigned queues and follow up with customers, investors, and attorneys.
  • Review ongoing workout plans with customers, assess their needs, and provide appropriate counseling.
  • Analyze credit reports, loan histories, personal records, and assets to make recommendations to managers.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations related to collections and bankruptcy practices.
  • Input conversation results into RTR's collections system.


Qualifications and Skills


  • High School Diploma or College Degree with relevant work experience.
  • Proven performance in the collections industry, such as with auto, credit card, or student loans.
  • Basic computer skills proficiency.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and sales ability.
  • Strong communication skills and articulate.


Work Environment


This role involves a hybrid work setting, dividing time between a professional office environment and a remote home office setup. Whether in the office or working remotely, standard office equipment like a keyboard, mouse, and telephone are utilized.


  • Office Call Center: Collaborate with team members in a structured call center environment.
  • Remote Home Office: Maintain a dedicated workspace ensuring productivity and reliable internet connection.


Physical Demands


This position is primarily office-based and involves telecommunications.


  • Voice Clarity and Communication: Use a clear, articulate voice for customer interactions.
  • Prolonged Sedentary Work: Comfort with extended periods of sitting and screen use.
  • Repetitive Hand and Wrist Motions: Typing and navigating computer systems.
  • Occasional Lifting: Handling office supplies up to 20 pounds occasionally.
