We are looking for a Title Post Closer responsible for ensuring all post-closing activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining the integrity of our real estate transactions.

Your specific duties will include:

  • Document Review and Processing: Review executed closing packages for accuracy and completeness. Ensure all necessary signatures, notarizations, and documents are included.
  • Compliance and Recording: Verify that all documents comply with state and local regulations. Prepare and submit documents for recording with the appropriate county offices.
  • Title Policy Preparation: Prepare and issue final title policies, ensuring all requirements and conditions are met.
  • Disbursement of Funds: Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accurate disbursement of funds according to the closing statement and client instructions.
  • Lien and Mortgage Release: Ensure the timely and accurate release of liens and mortgages, following up as necessary to confirm releases have been recorded.
  • Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties involved in the transaction to address any post-closing issues or inquiries.
  • File Management: Organize and maintain post-closing files, ensuring all documents are properly stored and easily accessible for future reference.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in title insurance, real estate, or a related field, with specific experience in post-closing activities.
  • Strong understanding of title insurance policies, real estate transactions, and post-closing procedures.
  • Proficient in using title software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with state and local real estate laws and regulations, ensuring all transactions comply with legal requirements.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, real estate, or a related field is preferred.
