Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team at BrightSpring Health Services. As a Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will play a critical role in the assessment and management of patients with traumatic brain injuries and other neurological conditions.
Responsibilities:- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Interview patients and study medical and social case histories to develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs and abilities.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with Treatment Team: Work closely with the treatment team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms and improving functional abilities.
- Document Progress and Outcomes: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and outcomes, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Ph.D. in Neuropsychology: A doctoral degree in neuropsychology or a related field is required.
- Professional License and Certification: Current and valid professional license and/or certification as required by state of practice.
- Post-Doctoral Training: Two years of post-doctoral training in clinical neuropsychology is preferred.
- Clinical Experience: A minimum of three years of clinical experience in the assessment and management of traumatic brain injury or related neurological conditions is required.
