Job Title: Front Office at Northwest Florida ENT

  • Join a team consisting of 2 ENT surgeons, 1 Physician Assistant, 2 Nurse Practitioners, and 2 Audiologists
  • Responsible for welcoming patients, clerical duties, and utilizing AthenaNet Practice Management System
  • Work in a setting that includes an Allergy Clinic, Sleep Lab, and Physical Therapy

General Summary of Duties: Responsible for clerical tasks and patient check-in/check-out

  • Essential Functions:
  • Develop proficiency in using the AthenaNet system
  • Handle high call volume and patient inquiries
  • Ensure positive patient experience and communication through various channels
  • Maintain records confidentially and assist in equipment care
  • Retrieve medical records and demonstrate proper data uploading

Performance Requirements: Skills and Abilities Needed

  • Knowledge of ENT terminology and office procedures
  • Proficiency in English language and basic arithmetic
  • Ability to use computers and follow instructions effectively
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships

Education: High school graduation or GED, completion of medical terminology course preferred

Experience: At least one year in clerical/computer roles, exposure to medical terminology desired

Physical/Mental Demands: Manual dexterity required for office tasks, including machine operation and data entry
