We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Emergency Roadside Assistance Technician to join our team in York Pennsylvania. This opportunity is Part-Time - Afternoons 4pm-9 pm and all day Saturday & Sunday.

All tools equipment and training are provided except the use of a service vehicle. You will be responsible for using your own vehicle (fuel bonus included).

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Diagnostics: Quickly assess the mechanical, electrical, or other issues causing the breakdown and determine the appropriate course of action.

Tire Services: Replace flat or damaged tires, provide tire inflation.

Battery Services: Jump-start or replace dead or damaged batteries.
-
Lockout Services: Assist drivers who are locked out of their vehicles, using appropriate tools and techniques.

Emergency Repairs: Conduct minor roadside repairs to get vehicles back on the road if possible.
-
Communication: Maintain clear and courteous communication with stranded motorists, explaining the services provided and expected wait times.

Safety: Ensure the safety of customers, yourself, and your equipment during every service call.

Documentation: Complete accurate records of service calls, including vehicle details, services rendered, and charges.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a helpful attitude.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Automotive knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in roadside assistance.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects, bend, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
