  • Responsibilities
:

The patient service associate is responsible for patient registration, checking patients in and out, intake, assisting with prior authorizations, scheduling appointments, and providing general support.

The office has 6 providers and an optician, is multi-specialty, and can see 100 patients per day. Call volume is not high as a centralized location fields calls, however.

  • Performance Measurements
:

Patient satisfaction/reviews, documentation accuracy, and efficiency in handling the high volume of patients.

  • Qualifications
:

o 2 years' experience as a PSA or Medical Secretary requiredo Previous Duke or EPIC experience preferred, but not requiredo Strong communication, customer service, and organization required

Monday-Friday from 8:
