Role Overview

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior team members to send proposals to insurance carriers and analyze results effectively
  • Review contracts, benefit plans, and regulatory documents to ensure accuracy under the guidance of senior staff
  • Organize and maintain client files in line with office protocols and manage policy records as needed
  • Address client inquiries promptly, such as ID card requests and insurance-related queries
  • Cultivate enduring client connections, liaising with senior team members as necessary
  • Build relationships with carrier representatives to stay informed about available products and services for client recommendations
  • Assist in drafting renewals presentations and participate in negotiations with carriers under supervision
  • Contribute to the development of educational resources and benefits guides for clients
  • Support client compliance audits and handle diverse client requests efficiently
  • Engage in client projects like new business implementation and non-discrimination testing as directed by senior team members
  • Prepare regular client reports, newsletters, and other relevant content
  • Participate in the creation of corporate wellness programs for clients
Skills and Qualifications
  • Understanding of benefits administration, industry trends, and carrier offerings
  • Capability to work independently, anticipate needs, and manage time effectively
  • Strong follow-up, communication, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Proficiency in presenting information clearly and engagingly
Educational Requirements and Background
  • Associate degree required, BA/BS preferred
  • Over 3 years of client service or industry experience
Certifications and Licensing
  • Current appropriate licenses or willingness to obtain them if necessary
