Role Overview

Open Position:

Morguard is currently seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee a garden-style community and lead the Leasing and Maintenance team.

Your Impact

Embark on a leadership role by managing and supporting our community's Property Management Operations. We seek a proactive individual who can take charge, complete projects, and inspire the onsite team when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand the community's needs and goals as a financial asset
  • Create monthly financial reports
  • Enhance the community's leasing potential through marketing initiatives
  • Resolve resident complaints promptly to maintain positive relations
  • Review and update resident files for accuracy and provide necessary training for the team
  • Conduct property inspections for market-ready apartments
  • Implement cost-effective preventative maintenance programs
  • Supervise renovation and construction projects
Requirements

Essential Experience & Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years of Property/Community Manager experience; background in Class A/B, Garden Style Multifamily assets preferred
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred. Alternatively, 4-6 years of direct Multi-family property management experience with relevant professional designation considered
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Expertise in Marketing/Leasing and knowledge of Federal and State Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong financial reporting, organization, and accounting skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Yardi, Excel, and Microsoft Word; familiarity with Yardi Reporting functions is advantageous
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and dedication to excellent service
Applicants must possess a valid Driver's License for consideration, as golf carts are used for property tours and inspections.
