This specialist will do the following:
- Provides administrative and/or operational support within one or more of the following loan areas; servicing, reviewing documentation of all types of loans, including but not limited to: Consumer, Commercial; Real Estate
- Responsible for verifying completeness of files with all necessary documents and signatures required
- Responsible for ensuring insurance is up to date and not lapsed
- Maintains Collateral files, incoming loan documents, etc.
- UCC filings, terminations and amendments
- Researches and resolves lending inquires and issues
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reports as needed
- Responsible for post-closing items including but not limited to: ticklers, filing, scanning, answer questions and follow up with other vendors or the employees
- Process advances, paydowns, payments, outgoing wires
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of previous banking or loan processing, documentation, loan assistant experience or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may job requirements.
- Proficient knowledge of lending processes, loan principles, documentation and loan systems
- Knowledge of banking process and procedures helpful
- Must have strong organizational and customer service skills
- Must be accurate, possess numeric and verbal aptitudes
- Strong research, audit and communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to complete processes and meet deadlines
- Proficient working knowledge computer program i.e word processing, spreadsheets or related software
