This specialist will do the following:

  • Provides administrative and/or operational support within one or more of the following loan areas; servicing, reviewing documentation of all types of loans, including but not limited to: Consumer, Commercial; Real Estate
  • Responsible for verifying completeness of files with all necessary documents and signatures required
  • Responsible for ensuring insurance is up to date and not lapsed
  • Maintains Collateral files, incoming loan documents, etc.
  • UCC filings, terminations and amendments
  • Researches and resolves lending inquires and issues
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports as needed
  • Responsible for post-closing items including but not limited to: ticklers, filing, scanning, answer questions and follow up with other vendors or the employees
  • Process advances, paydowns, payments, outgoing wires
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of previous banking or loan processing, documentation, loan assistant experience or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may job requirements.
  • Proficient knowledge of lending processes, loan principles, documentation and loan systems
  • Knowledge of banking process and procedures helpful
  • Must have strong organizational and customer service skills
  • Must be accurate, possess numeric and verbal aptitudes
  • Strong research, audit and communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to complete processes and meet deadlines
  • Proficient working knowledge computer program i.e word processing, spreadsheets or related software
