They execute across all phases of a program including proposal capture, process development, transition to production, and production support.

Manufacturing Engineers design, control, and improve the manufacturing process and system design through a collaborative effort with the value stream team.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Developing, maintaining, and reviewing Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including assembly instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool and fixture designsSupporting a manufacturing area as part of cross-functional team by guiding the production team through process troubleshooting and incorporation of engineering changes into the MDPDispositioning non-conforming material with root cause and corrective action analysis as requiredDriving Continuous Improvement through process improvements to improve cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk to assemblers, automate, reduce costs (both direct and indirect) using CORE principles and data driven decision makingProviding real-time technical support to manufacturers and fabricators; in-house as well as the supply base.

Leading corrective action investigations to prevent recurrenceSome travel may be required for this positionBasic Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 2+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree.2+ years Experience working in a manufacturing environment (can be through internships, coop work)The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.

government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
