As the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) Director for the Home & Distribution sector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a balanced demand and supply plan throughout the supply chain. Your responsibilities will entail aligning volume and mix with capacity and capability, integrating global financial and operating plans with strategic objectives to drive enhanced sourcing, operational, and financial outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning Process for the entire range of products offered within the North American Digital Energy Business Unit.
  • Devise and execute sourcing strategies, policies, and practices across the organization to maintain the optimal balance of quality, service level, and overall cost effectiveness.
  • Synchronize plant operational capacities with planning systems and act as the liaison to the business on available capacities and limitations.
  • Ensure all plants adopt and execute standard business planning practices.
  • Operate as a Business Owner by proactively identifying risks in the end-to-end supply chain and collaborating with key stakeholders to address demand and supply challenges.
  • Effectively communicate with all business partners by simplifying complex scenarios to facilitate quick decision-making and progress.
  • Establish, nurture, and retain a high-performing team comprising Demand Planners, Supply Planners, SIOP Leaders, and SIOP Experts.
Key Competencies:
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with internal and external contacts.
  • A self-driven and influential change pioneer with experience in spearheading continuous improvement and process enhancement endeavors.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with keen attention to detail.
  • Possess the analytical and technical acumen required to grasp business practices and recommend appropriate automation opportunities.
  • Dynamic, adaptable, collaborative, and forward-thinking team leader who embraces challenges.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Proficiency in English - Both Written and Oral.
  • Holder of a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Statistics, Economics, Operations, or Business.
  • An MBA is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Vendor Forecasting, or Business Management.
  • Familiarity with Kinaxis, SAP, Oracle, or similar planning software applications.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Location: Franklin, TN (preferred) or Monterrey, MX.
