As a Project Coordinator at Schneider Electric, you will play a key role in providing crucial support for Project Managers, Sales Engineers, District Managers, and Regional Managers on Key Accounts, Customers, and Projects. You will be the primary contact within the Welcome facility, acting as a liaison between Florham Park and the field, addressing any issues that may arise during critical projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee communication of order status and coordinate resolution of any issues to ensure top-notch experience for ASCO Welcome customers.
- Coordinate all Welcome PCS projects, participating in various activities such as Order Review and Post Shipment Budget Reviews.
- Facilitate information flow between the Welcome operation, ASCO headquarters, and field departments throughout project life cycles.
- Act as the central communication point for all PCS orders and issues, filtering external requests and coordinating internal activities.
- Maintain Master Schedule and coordinate with production to ensure timely delivery schedules.
- Track and coordinate activities related to primary PCS jobs, including warranty orders and witness test punch lists.
- Provide dedicated support to project managers for in-factory issue resolution.
- Assist in project budget analysis and improvement of budgeting estimates.
- Inform project management of any product availability issues promptly.
- Communicate project status to all involved parties and expedite as necessary to meet delivery schedules.
- Develop and issue timelines for assigned projects and collaborate with factory personnel as needed.
- Manage project margins effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent U.S. Armed Services experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant product and functional experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with control circuits, emergency power systems, and industry codes & standards.
- Proficient in scheduling, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and results-driven.
- Business acumen and strong technical skills.
