About the Job:

  • Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and public areas.
  • Assist in upholding cleanliness standards throughout the hotel.
  • Provide friendly and professional service to guests.
  • Ensure guest privacy and safety of belongings.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning tasks in guest and public areas according to checklists.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests for extra items.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Work efficiently to prepare rooms promptly for guest arrival.
  • Communicate room status to Front Desk.
  • Report maintenance issues.
  • Follow departmental policies and safety procedures.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Sanitize cleaning tools at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain a professional attitude with guests and staff.
  • Help with laundry tasks when required.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to follow housekeeping standards.
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation techniques.
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to handle physical tasks like climbing, walking, bending, lifting.
  • Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds.
