Job Summary:
The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring that the physical infrastructure of our clinics and offices are well-maintained, safe, and operationally efficient. This role involves hands on execution and oversight of the maintenance, repair, and improvement of buildings, equipment, and grounds. The Facilities Manager will work closely with multiple departments to support the company's operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
  • Carpet/flooring repair, cleaning
  • Light plumbing and electrical
  • IT equipment and install (wiring)
  • Cabinet setting
  • Installing doors and door handles
  • Drywall repair and painting
  • Procure bids from external contractors and manage project oversight.
  • Manage space planning, office moves, and refurbishments.
  • Monitor building systems including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Maintain projects within the facilities budget.
  • Monitor and control expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate contracts with service providers and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
  • Prepare for and respond to emergencies, including fire, flood, and other incidents.
  • Plan and coordinate facility-related projects, including renovations and new construction.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience in facilities management or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Light plumbing and electrical experience
  • Flooring install
  • Drywall and Painting experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Facilities Management (e.g., IFMA, BIFM).
  • Knowledge of contract management and negotiation.
Working Conditions:
  • This position may require occasional evening or weekend work.
  • Must be able to travel to all clinics and future locations
  • The role involves regular interaction with various departments and external contractors.
  • Physical requirements may include the ability to lift and carry materials, perform physical inspections of facilities, and respond to emergencies.
