As a Lead Engineer, you will play a crucial role in owning and evolving our native technology stack. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team, creating and executing architectural plans, and influencing the future of beauty.

Your role at Sephora:
  • Own and evolve the full stack Java technology architecture, making decisions that benefit our applications and customers
  • Collaborate with a team of 10+ engineers to execute the architectural plan
  • Lead and influence the engineering team, sharing best practices and expertise
  • Partner closely with product, user experience, and upper management teams to translate the team's work into tangible outcomes
  • Demonstrate Sephora values including Passion for Client Service, Innovation, and Teamwork

We're excited about you if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience in full stack Java and mobile app development
  • 5+ years of experience leading engineering teams
  • Strong design and programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, React, and SQLQuery
  • Deep understanding of Java and cloud-based architecture
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and delivering enterprise-grade applications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
