Role Overview
As a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and addressing vulnerabilities and inefficiencies within the production process, focusing on both operational procedures and equipment functionality.
- Engaging directly on the manufacturing floor to collaborate with engineering teams, conducting audits, and resolving issues.
- Proactively improving the resilience and efficiency of wafer processing and equipment systems, including procedures and training materials.
- Fostering a culture of quality within wafer processing and equipment engineering teams.
- Facilitating Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) processes.
- Working closely with Failure Analysis and yield engineering teams to ensure high standards of outgoing wafer quality.
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in wafer fabrication engineering related to magnetic heads or similar semiconductor products.
- A strong understanding of the integrated process flow from wafer initiation to completion is highly desirable.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Leadership capabilities to coordinate and drive cross-functional team initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
