Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) has exciting opportunities for Quality Engineers to join our Engineering Quality team located in Everett, Washington.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about problem solving.The qualified candidate will be engaging with program engineering, performing complex data analysis to improve our engineering quality processes, quality management system, and production system.
Our engineers get involved in sophisticated engineering and production challenges and have a meaningful role in the continuous improvement of our quality management system, products and production system.
Position Responsibilities:
Represents the team activities and Boeing Quality.
Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.
Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Everett, Washington location.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering
Preferred Qualifications:1+ years of experience in process improvement utilizing formal, systematic tools such as Root Cause and Corrective Action, Lean improvement techniques or
Six Sigma:
example reducing product cost, improving quality, improving delivery, reduce cycle time, increase employee and customer satisfaction.
Prior working experience in multi-functions (quality engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, system engineering, design engineering, etc)
Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Greenbelt or Blackbelt certifiedExperience in data analyticsMaster's or Doctorate of Science/Engineering degree from an accredited schoolExperience researching engineering drawings and requirementsTypical Education/Experience:
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
