Who you are

A detail-oriented multitasker who is enthusiastic about supporting the company's project management in both accounting and administrative capacities. You are a team player and a self-starter who can get the job done.

You have:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a construction office environment
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
  • Strong organizational, detail-orientation and effective time management skills
  • Understanding of lien releases, project specific insurance, progress billing and project compliance
  • Ability to research information, problem solve and prioritize multiple requests
  • Keen business analytics skills to effectively weigh options and make tough decisions before presenting findings to decision makers
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Initiative to manage time, improve processes and the organization to help increase efficiency and productivity
What you'll be doing

As a Project Accountant at ConXtech, you'll:
  • Work with project managers to create monthly project progress billings
  • Secure project specific insurance certificates for us and our subcontractors
  • When applicable, manage OCIP/CCIP enrollments for us and our subcontractors
  • Focus on data, statistical analysis and reporting to investigate and analyze business performance, provide insights, and drive recommendations to improve performance
  • Acquire lien waivers from vendors
  • File preliminary liens
  • Follow up on payment status with the clients when needed
  • Post incoming payments
  • Input/maintain project budgets
  • Produce weekly cost reports
  • Maintain job files both electronic and hard copy
  • Assist with project managements administrative requirements

You'll be working from our fun, commuter friendly Pleasanton, CA headquarters with an option to work a couple days per week remotely from home.
