What This Position Is All About:

Inventory Control Specialist

Under the direction of the Store Director and in partnership with the Manager of Corporate Inventory Control, the inventory control specialist will support execution of the operational priorities within the 4 walls. They will be responsible for maintaining performance of their stores' back of house practices and inventory control initiatives to drive inventory accuracy and achievement of related goals. The Inventory Control Specialist will work with the Manager of Corporate Inventory Control to identify trends and provide support and training to ensure shortage reduction strategies are being consistently executed.

Primary Job Functions:

  • Execution of all exception report research for inbound and outbound freight to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Control inventory losses through auditing and analysis of inventory results.
  • Ensure back of house areas are organized and that merchandise is properly maintained and accurately ticketed.
  • Assist Asset Protection and Store leadership in inventory and reconciliation processes.
  • Provide training and support to associates on shortage reduction strategies.

You Also Have:
  • College Associate diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficiency in utilizing available technology including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Proven time management skills and comfortable managing multiple projects with shifting priorities
  • Ability to act promptly in routine situations and see a clear plan of action to a positive result in the customer's eyes
  • Ability to operate equipment such as radios, POS register, ticket scanners, and sensor removers
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
